Helldivers 2 is an incredibly successful third-person sci-fi action game. Arrowhead Game Studios has really given this game its all in order to make it as successful as it is. Besides working hard on developing it, they are also constantly on top of every issue that this game might face, and they continuously fix these issues to keep the experience of their fans smooth.

But to some fans of the game, the technical issues and bugs are not an issue. For them, the problem arises from the fact that this game is only on the PlayStation 5 and PC. People have been constantly asking Arrowhead Game Studios to release an Xbox version of this game. But there has not been an announcement as of yet. But despite this silence, fans of the games have finally hit a very unusual landmark.

Helldivers 2 Xbox petition has already crossed 100K signatures; would developers listen?

Some games get successful; other games just grow up to be so sensational that people in every direction can be seen wanting them. They would want to play it, alone or with their friends. They would save for it and buy it if they could, but buying a whole new console for one game becomes a bit of an issue.

Hence, fans of the game decided to ask the developers to bring Helldivers 2 to Xbox. There was no reply from the developer at all. It makes sense too; it was made exclusively for the PlayStation and PC, just like its predecessor. On the other hand, since the game has been published by Sony, there’s a slim chance Sony would want to bring their game to a rival platform.

But fans did not care, and they wanted this game on Xbox; hence, they did the next best thing they could. They decided to start a petition on change.org. This petition asks the developers to consider bringing the Xbox consoles.

The Xbox community stands as a bastion of diverse players, each with their unique stories, strategies, and strengths to bring to the battlefield. By bringing Helldivers 2 to Xbox, Arrowhead Game Studios has the opportunity to weave this vibrant tapestry of gamers into the fabric of the Helldivers universe.

The big thing is that, after just over a month of being created, this petition has crossed 100,000 signatures. And it has set its target at 1,50,000 signatures, which would not take long to achieve given the circumstances.

It’s a big deal that a game has enticed the Xbox crowd so much that they are doing such a thing. Previously, people have asked for certain games to be released on their choice of console, but those attempts never reached this magnitude.

It remains to be seen how the creators of this game react to this petition. They are usually pretty active online and forthcoming about answering any such queries. Specifically, the creative director of Helldivers 2 is pretty frank with the game’s community and frankly answers any question thrown at him.

Still, no matter what Arrowhead Game Studio says, the ball would then go to Sony’s court, and it’s probably going to stay there forever. Sony is a tough nut when it comes to things like bringing their hit games to other platforms.

While Sony has yet to make a decision on releasing their game on a rival platform, Microsoft has already decided. They want to release their games on other platforms; in fact, they have even announced that a bunch of their games are making their way to the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5.

Sony, on the other hand, might not care for Xbox as much, but they have been selling their games on PC for a while. Maybe they would slowly start making a transition to Xbox consoles too.
