Epic Games has made its battle pass one of the most exciting ways to unlock new things, but still, fans want more. And they are listening. Nowadays, fans get involved in a game’s lore pretty fast; they analyze it, dig through it, and then inform their fellow gamers about it. Things are pretty similar in the Fortnite community too; for a while, this game has followed an interesting lore that adds yet another layer of excitement to this title.

Where does this game take place, why do its biomes keep shifting, why do players sometimes have trains, and why do they sometimes get to fly around like Icarus? Every little detail in this game comes with an explanation, and it’s commendable that the developers care to do it.

By now, after years of launching, Fortnite has effectively established a bunch of realities and numerous characters in its lore. And each one of those characters has its fans; some are loved, some are hated, but there’s no shortage of variety here. Epic Games has kept this thing consistent.

But if a recent reveal is to be believed, they are bringing yet another skin to this game. To the surprise of this game’s fans, though, there’s not much that can be called new about this skin. It basically looks like a version of a previously revealed character called Midas.

For those unaware, Midas was once part of Chapter 2: Season 2 Battle Pass. Players could unlock this legendary skin by simply reaching level 100. He was part of the Golden Ghost Set. No doubt this was an incredible skin, especially in golden.

Midas then showed up again as a minifigure in LEGO Fortnite. This guy had his own hidden room on the island, and he had his own set of challenges that players could complete in different styles for him.

Now he is making a comeback, it seems. It looks like Epic Games has decided to give Midas another inning at Fortnite by bringing him back. The reaction to his comeback is not very enthusiastic, though; fans have mixed reactions about this character’s comeback.

However, there is no confirmation of his return date, so fans will have to wait a little longer.
