Majin Buu is one of the most prominent and influential villains to be introduced throughout the classic and Z era of Dragon Ball. He was reincarnated as Uub and stood against Baby Vegeta to trace his path of redemption. The backstory stretches back eons with a massive impact on the series. This character easily demolishes any mortal fighter who challenges him and most deities who attempt to do the same. To defeat him in the end, it took a Spirit Bomb packed with the energies of billions of people, and surprisingly, that was only half of him.
What events followed up to the fight between Baby Vegeta and Uub?

In Episode 38 of Dragon Ball GT, Super Saiyan 4 Goku is engaged in battle with the Golden Great Ape Baby Vegeta and gets beaten to a pulp by him. Goku is almost out of energy as the battle has been going on for some time now, and Baby Vegeta was just rejuvenated by a blast from Bulma’s Blutz Wave Generator.
If Goku lost, then the entire humanity was at stake. However, before Baby Vegeta can finish Goku off, weird commotions start inside him as his body expands outwards like something inside him is trying to get out. There was indeed someone inside him, which was Uub.
How did the battle between Uub and Baby Vegeta unfold and redempt himself?

In the previous episode, Goku was considered never to wake up again, and Uub stepped up to stand against the villain. Baby Vegeta was a threat to the entire humanity and the universe itself. Using a classic move from when he was Kid Buu, Uub thrashed Baby Vegeta with an energy attack that would have transformed him into a chocolate. However, Baby Vegeta counters the attack, resulting in Uub getting hit by their attack and turning into chocolate. Baby Vegeta eats him afterward, which was all a part of Uub’s plan as he considered attacking him from the inside was the only way Baby Vegeta couldn’t defend himself.
Uub’s plan was intelligent and courageous. His tactic was incredibly brilliant and required a great deal of strength, which made him worthy to be tagged as a hero. Uub also saved Goku’s life along with the Universe, which Baby Vegeta would have taken over. This act compensates for the evil accords he committed, from being the most powerful villain in Dragon Ball Z to becoming the greatest hero in Dragon Ball GT.
