“I’m very grateful, very thankful. But, wow. Who would’ve thunk it? Little ol’ girl, going up to the National Finals Rodeo in Oklahoma City… getting to sing the anthem… Never in my wildest imagination (and I have pretty good imagination) but nothing would have presented that to me that 50 years later you would’ve been singing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl.”
