Vergara divorced Gonzales two years after their marriage and moved to the USA with her son and family. Vergara was then engaged to actor Nick Loeb, whom she dated till 2014. After the engagement was called off and they broke up, Vergara began dating actor Joe Manganiello in 2014. After a brief courtship, the two got married in Palm Beach in 2015.

Sofia Vergara Reveals Why She And Joe Manganiello Got Divorced?
For almost a year, Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello did not reveal anything more about their divorce after seven years of marriage. The former couple remained cordial with each other, with Manganiello even wishing Vergara on her 51st birthday, which she reportedly spent in Italy.
A source close to the couple revealed some information about their divorce to People Magazine,
“They were really trying to make it work, though. They do love each other. No one wants to constantly bicker with their spouse, though. Joe has absolutely nothing bad to say about her. She is a great woman. They were just not great together in the long run.”
Recently, however, while promoting her upcoming Netflix miniseries Griselda, Sofia Vergara opened up about her divorce from Joe Manganiello. She told the magazine El Pais that Manganiello wanted children while Vergara felt that she was too old for it and that she did not want to go through it again. Her son Manolo recently turned 32. She said,
“My marriage broke up because my husband was younger; he wanted to have kids and I didn’t want to be an old mom. I feel it’s not fair to the baby. I respect whoever does it, but that’s not for me anymore. I had a son at 19, who is now 32, and I’m ready to be a grandmother, not a mother.”
Vergara was rumored to be dating an orthopedic surgeon named Justin Saliman. The duo were photographed together multiple times in late 2023.
