KIIS FM’s Joshua Fox wants his newly formed clash with Saltburn star Jacob Elordi to end as soon as possible. Elordi was accused of assault by Fox after his failed prank with the actor, which grabbed the immediate attention of global fans.
Following the incident, Australian authorities were reportedly investigating the alleged assault as Fox claimed Elordi choked him during a failed prank. However, recent reports suggest that Fox does not want to drag the saga any further.
What Happened Between Joshua Fox and Jacob Elordi?
Australian radio station KIIS FM’s Joshua Fox approached Euphoria actor Jacob Elordi at a local pub in southeast Sydney on Saturday. As per a Kyle and Jackie O Breakfast Show reporter, Fox approached the Australian star as he handed him a labeled jar asking the actor to fill it with his bathwater (referring to Saltburn’s infamous bathtub scene). The request did not go well with the actor. While speaking with Kyle and Jackie O Breakfast Show, the request prompted the actor to lose his temper and assault the radio producer.
In a video published by Australian Community Media on Dailymotion, an excerpt of the clash was published. “Could I give you this? Jackie wants a birthday present,” Fox said, handing over the labeled jar to the actor. “Jacob Elordi’s Bath Water. What am I supposed to do with this?” Elordi said in response to the radio producer’s weird request.
Fox said that he would “send it to the studio” which sparked anger in The Kissing Booth star. “You’re kidding me … are you filming? Can you not, man, please?” Elordi immediately asked Fox to stop filming. However, things escalated when the radio producer decided not to follow the actor, which led to the alleged assault.
Joshua Fox Will Not Press Any Charges
Fox’s intended prank did not go well, and he stopped filming. However, as per the producer, Elordi demanded Fox to delete the footage. “He kind of gets up in my face … He’s a lot taller than me. I could’ve kissed him, he was that close,” he said in the Kyle and Jackie O Breakfast Show interview.
“I’m backed against this wall, he’s right in my face and his two boys are now either side of me. … It was kind of scary. I’m feeling quite intimated, and Jacob demands I delete the footage… Jacob flips and he kind of pushes me against the wall, and his hands are on my throat.”
Fox further revealed that one of Elordi’s guys separated him from the producer. The other one asked him to keep the incident contained. However, Fox does not intend to prolong the saga, which has already been a huge discussion.
“I just want this to end. I’ve said my piece now. The story’s out there,” he continued. “Let’s move on. Jacob, go do your own thing. Maybe next time someone speaks to you on the street don’t grab them, allegedly.”
As per reports, Fox did not sustain any injury.
