Portraying the role of Katherine Oppenheimer in Christopher Nolan’s 2023 magnum opus, Emily Blunt was unable to experience it at the premiere of the movie due to the SAG-AFTRA strike. The actress revealed that she and Krasinski found a better solution to watch the movie.
“We sneaked into an IMAX in a shopping mall during a 4 p.m. screening on a weekday. The audience was dressed like him [Oppenheimer]. It was surreal. I immediately called Emma, Chris, and Cillian about it. You’d expect this in the heart of New York City, but witnessing kids dressed as characters from the film was incredible.”
Although there are a few Pam and Jim jokes here and there, Emily Blunt’s career has been quite successful over the years. Starring alongside Cillian Murphy in Oppenheimer, the film received a rating of 8.4/10 on IMDB and a whopping 93% on Rotten Tomatoes.
