Julia Fox is infamous for being eccentric and it is often her unusual sense of fashion that seems to garner the most clout. Yet the actress seems to have turned heads after stating that she would not date a person like Adam Sandler‘s character in her acting debut film, Uncut Gems, despite her short relationship with the controversial rapper, Kanye West.
While talking to The Guardian, the actress revealed what made her character Julia De Fiore attracted to Adam Sandler’s Howard Ratner,
“They’re both broken people who feel alone in the world. When you’re addicted to something like gambling and you’re always ripping off everyone and everyone is just an opportunity, it makes you feel kind of alone. But with Julia, he doesn’t feel that way – they’re both able to be vulnerable with each other. And he’s charming and manipulative and so is she.”
Yet when it comes to dating a guy like Ratner in real life, she remarked,
“I would never date anyone like that. That’s also where the character and I differ. But I’ve definitely met people like that – there’s so many people like that in New York.”
Well, fans of Julia Fox are glad that the actress and model has her priorities sorted, especially after in a recent interview she remarked how dating the rapper has left her scarred for life.

Julia Fox has spoken several times about her brief romance with Kanye West. Whether it is her memoir Down the Drain or her recent interviews, the actress hardly seems to have any good words about her brief stint with the Jesus is King rapper.
In a recent interview with Stellar Magazine (via the Daily Mail), the actress stated that the public relationship left her with scars.
“What I find happens so often in public relationships – at least what happened to me, and maybe I’m just scarred from it – is that you become known as that person’s girlfriend.”
While talking to InStyle, the actress had similar remarks to make and exclaimed,
“I have such a sour taste in my mouth about dating anyone in this sphere. Because I don’t ever want to just be known as someone’s girlfriend. I know I’m so much more than that.”
Fox added that she wants to break the mold and not have any man backing her up. Whether she accepts it or not, her popularity does seem to have been affected after she started dating West. Yet it is her personality and the person that she is that fans have come to love and appreciate.
