“I was definitely scared of Ronda and I was like, ‘Is she going to start fights with me? Is she a total bitch?’ You know, I was like, ‘She could totally kick my ass. What if she hates me? What if she tries to hurt me?’ Which is obviously stupid, to think that a fighter really is mean. But I had heard something that she was mean, and she really surprised me.

She was such a nice person. She was always reading, and she was very thoughtful and really loved her family and, you know, was really sweet to other people. But like, you know, [she] still seemed very sensitive herself. I was really impressed with her.”
