The idea of a Young Avengers movie has opened floodgates of suggestions about different characters who could be recruited to progress the story which has spelled great results in the world of Marvel Comics. Even Vellani has joined this discussion, revealing she’d love to see her character, Ms. Marvel join hands with America Chavez and Elijah Bradley (Patriot). She told Screen Rant:

“I just want to see them interact. I think they’ve left so many of the younger character stories open-ended, and to see fans start shipping people together, it would be something like, I want to see Kamala interact with America. I want to see Kamala interact with Patriot, I don’t know.”

Marvel fans got acquainted with America Chavez in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Doctor Strange teams up with her from his dreams to battle multiple threats. She’s a girl hailing from the Utopian Parallel with the ability to travel the Multiverse. However, Patriot has so far remained out of the limelight in the MCU.

Elijah Bradley, who goes on to become Patriot, appears in the 2021 television series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. However, the character had a little role in the Anthony Mackie-led Captain America series.

However, in the comics, Patriot, the grandson of the black Captain America, is a very prominent member of Young Avengers, which has been assembled by Vision instead of MCU’s Kamala.

His superhuman abilities enhanced after a blood transfusion from his grandfathers while he was trying to save his life. Before that, he was taking Mutant Growth Hormone to fight crime. Whether Marvel writers will take the same path to give Elijah Richardson’s character his powers in the MCU remains unknown for now.
