Robert Downey Jr.’s iconic portrayal of Iron Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was part of the reason why the Avengers movies had so much hype about them. Before Iron Man’s death in Avengers: Endgame, fans used to rally around every MCU project and watch them with all their heart and love.

After Tony Stark’s death, however, the landscape of the MCU changed. In an exclusive interview with The DirectIman Vellani, who portrays the role of Ms. Marvel in the MCU sat down for a chat and talked about what Marvel Studios lack at the moment.

“I don’t know. I don’t know if it’s about just getting bigger and bigger and bigger. Because then, like, what’s left? You know, I think it’s just about making the audience care about their characters. And I think they’ve established so many wonderful characters in the last phase of the MCU that it would be nice to see them all again and see them team up.”

She further continued,

“I think, because there are so many new characters people want to like, start shipping people together and be like, ‘Oh, seeing Kamala and like the Red Guardian together.’ Like imagining all these pair-ups, and I think that would definitely pay off. It’ll be like, you know, the next Avengers.”

Although the actress meant well for the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, several fans were not so impressed or grateful for Iman Vellani’s advice.
