Will Ted Lasso Come Back for Another Season?

Ted Lasso is a critically acclaimed sports-comedy drama, which premiered on Apple TV+ in August 2020. The show follows co-creator Jason Sudeikis in the titular role of an American college football coach. The owner of an English soccer team hires Ted and hopes for the team’s downfall due to his inexperience. However, in a surprising turn of events, Ted’s leadership helps the team become successful.

With the 34th episode being the final episode of the 3rd season, Ted Lasso has given no further updates about the arrival of its 4th season or the alleged spin-off. Fans are eagerly waiting for the next installation of the series and the recent words of Hannah Waddingham have added fuel to their excitement.

In a recent interview with ExtraTV, Waddingham hinted at something positive about the future of Ted Lasso. “It ain’t over till it’s over,” sang Waddingham playfully during the interview when asked if Ted Lasso could come up with more content.

Waddingham also mentioned that she is really hopeful about another installation of the series. Previously, upon being asked her opinion on doing a spin-off with Waddingham, Juno Temple had told Variety that she had a nervous feeling about doing anything that did not involve the team. So, maybe, the Sex Education actress’ words were hinting at this spin-off or something else entirely.
