Deadpool 3 isn’t slowing down with the references and has had fans pumped to see what the MCU debut of the wisecracking fourth-wall-breaking anti-hero is shaping out to be. And despite the teaser released at the Super Bowl being only 146 seconds, it made sure to cramp in as many MCU references as possible, which some fans might’ve missed.
Among the many MCU easter eggs, including the Loki 2 and Moon Knight reference, some on the internet also pointed out a seeming Hulk easter egg in the teaser, which has left fans speculating.
The Potential References to Hulk in the Deadpool 3 Teaser
For a brief moment in the teaser, fans can see Deadpool sitting on a structure that appears to be Hulk’s bed from Thor: Ragnarok. While the difference in lighting makes it harder to firmly tell whether it’s the case or not, considering the teaser also comprises the cupcake van from Moon Knight, it doesn’t seem too far-fetched. On the flip side, some argued that it just could be the Savage Lands, a jungle in the multiverse that is inhabited by prehistoric creatures, which has been rumored to appear in Deadpool 3.
Or it’s not and it’s the Savage Lands.

What if it's Savage Land?

Yeah It Kinda Looks Like That.. But Still Both Are Totally Different Or Atleast In My POV.. Or An Alternative Version Who Knows.. Can't Be Sure Tho….

I'm thinking this is in the void. We see Alioth in the trailer along with things like the truck from Moon Knight and a massive destroyed Fox logo. And thanks to leaks, we also know about the Fantastic Four car. Safe to say a good chunk of this movie will take place in the void.

Sometimes we find references where they shouldn't be. We need to calm down.

Although fans will have to wait for July to see for themselves whether it’s the bed from Ragnarok or not, this isn’t the lone probable Hulk reference cramped into the teaser. At the very end, when Wade Wilson is knocked down by Wolverine into the ground, a tattered copy of Secret Wars #5 can be seen. On top of that, one viewer pointed out a bottle full of Pingo Doce, the green nectar from The Incredible Hulk.
MCU Is Distancing Itself From a Standalone Hulk Feature Said Mark Ruffalo
Even though Deadpool 3 isn’t shying away from seeming Hulk easter eggs, the MCU’s plans for Mark Ruffalo‘s Bruce Banner are less than thrilling as of now. On asked what the future holds for his character, Ruffalo revealed the MCU has no interest in delving into a standalone Hulk feature, at least to his knowledge. Ruffalo detailed (via The Direct):
“Yeah. Kevin [Feige] was like, ‘What would you like to do?’ And he said, ‘What would you do if you had a standalone Hulk movie?’ I said, ‘Well, I’d like to take him from this raging maniac to kind of this integrated character.’ And he’s like, ‘Okay. We’ll do that over the course of four movies. We’ll never give you a standalone Hulk… Don’t mean to burst your bubble, but that’s just not going to [happen]… So, we’ll do it over four movies, how does that sound?'”
While it’s not great news for fans who were anticipating a potential World War Hulk, fans will hope Hulk’s involvement in Deadpool 3 isn’t just limited to easter eggs, which could very much be the case.
Deadpool 3 will hit theatres on 26 July 2024
