All right folks. Buckle up, as it’s time for a new theory that could literally be one of the best MCU theories to exist. With Jonathan Majors being removed from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this theory could bring back the character of Kang the Conqueror and can also replace the actor!

Having Tom Holland in the mix for an alleged Spider-Man 4 film, this theory clears all the requirements for an MCU movie. From connected timelines to the slow reveal of the enemy, Spider-Man 4 would be ground-breaking if the MCU were to put this theory to good use!

How Kang Could Return After Jonathan Majors’ Removal!

Much like every other MCU theory involving Kang the Conqueror, we once again delve into the field of the multiple variants of Kang. One of these variants is called Mr. Gryphon who becomes a businessman and becomes the CEO of Qeng Enterprises.

The company later on goes to buy the Stark Tower and what’s interesting is that this Stark Tower has been referenced in Loki Season 1 Episode 5! Therefore, this easter egg suggests that Mr. Gryphon is already present in the MCU and has been silently building his empire over the years ever since the MCU started.

After the death of Tony Stark and the initial arrival of Jonathan Majors’ Kang the Conqueror, Mr. Gryphon could join the battle to turn the tide against the heroes since he is, after all, a variant of Kang. And thus, this is how Kang the Conqueror could re-enter the MCU (in a different form) with the help of his variant, Mr. Gryphon. But how does Spider-Man come in between all of this? Well, we have your answer to that question as well.

Mr. Gryphon Is The Awaited Villain To Tom Holland’s Spider-Man?

It was back in February of 2023 that Kevin Feige revealed that a story for Spider-Man 4 had already been thought of and they were putting it down on paper. In an interview with EWFeige reportedly stated that they had the story ready.

“All I will say is that we have the story. We have big ideas for that, and our writers are just putting pen to paper now,”

Connecting the dots, the theory mentioned above works in the following ways. Peter Parker gets a job in Qeng Enterprises and slowly works his way to the top. He realizes that his boss is essentially a variant of Kang called Mr. Gryphon and fights him. Mr. Gryphon might flee or be victorious but this will mark the moment the entirety of Kang’s army rains fury on Earth!

The Spider-Man vs Mr. Gryphon could be depicted in Spider-Man 4 but we are sure that the MCU knows how to do that. Although as awesome as the theory sounds, it still remains a theory and nothing can be confirmed or denied yet.
