Peter Parker aka Spider-Man is a dream role for rising actors. The web-slinger is regarded as one of the most famous superheroes and has been key in shaping the careers of Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland. Joseph Quinn surprised his fans when he claimed he was also in the race to be Peter Parker.

Joseph Quinn‘s career got a massive boost after he played Eddie Munson in Stranger Things Season 4. Spider-Man has several reasons to be one of the most fan-favorite superheroes ever. He shares an adorable bond with numerous popular superheroes in the Marvel Universe. In the comics, Peter Parker shared an incredible bond with Johnny Storm. Although he frequently joined forces with the team and was liked by all the members, he shared a special connection with Human Torch.

The two superheroes met for the first time in The Amazing Spider-Man #1. Initially, the bond started as a friendly rivalry but soon they started to respect each other and develop a friendly connection. Their similar age group also made their connection more adorable where they would throw jokes while fighting and could also understand each other’s superhero problems.

Recently Matt Shakman, the director for the upcoming Fantastic Four movie said to Inverse that they will be relying on the comics for inspiration- “I’m looking at the comics themselves. I’m a huge comic book fan”. If the film stays true to the source materials, then we can expect to witness the camaraderie between the two young superheroes.

The Fantastic Four will be released on July 25, 2025.
