Quite similar to his character of friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, Josh Keaton’s Agent Spider was spotted fighting an alternate version of Doc Ock, referred to as Prog Ock, in another dimension in Invincible. That’s when Mark Grayson plunged through a green interdimensional portal created by Angstrom Levy and knocked out Prog Ock. Helping out Keaton’s Agent Spider, Mark even connected Invincible with Marvel, following Robert Kirkman’s Marvel Team-Up Vol 3 #14.

Mark’s Journey to the Fortnite Universe in Invincible S2

But hold on, this wasn’t the only surprise for fans. As we mentioned previously, Invincible S2 finale even showed a shocking collaboration with the Fortnite universe. In the finale – I Thought You Were Stronger, is seen going up against the main villain of the series – Angstrom Levy. The very person he was fighting against when he got transported to Agent Spider’s universe.

Similarly, yet again Angstrom opened up another portal to other dimensions to tire out Mark when fans notice him in Batman’s universe. While most people thought Mark getting to chat with Batman was the easter egg highlight of the episode, in reality, the gun that Mark swings at Angstrom Levy is the real Easter Egg. Only eagle-eyed fans like Twitter user aminxakl5 could figure out that the gun was actually from Fortnite.

According to the scene, the gun that Mark Grayson was holding was the Dragon’s Breath sniper rifle from Chapter 2, Season 5 of Fortnite. Now, although Mark didn’t directly mention Fortnite or his experiences there, the particular gun sequence was enough for fans to understand that Invincible season 2 finale added Fortnite as a significant Easter Egg.

Invincible is available on Prime Video.
