“[Eilish is distracted and jittery] No I’m ticking. The lights [her reason of ticking]. If you film me for long enough you’re gonna see lots of ticks. I don’t care.”

David Letterman respectfully asked her whether they could talk about the disorder and Eilish had no problems answering him.

“Yeah, absolutely. No, it’s really weird. I haven’t talked about it at all. The most common way people react is they laugh. Because they think like I’m trying to be funny. And I’m always left incredibly offended by that. So many people have it that you would never know. A couple artists came forward and said, ‘I’ve always had Tourette’s’ but that was actually really interesting to me”.

David Letterman handed the matter with the utmost respect as he kept checking up on Billie Eilish and asking her whether she needed anything. The interviewer stated that he didn’t know anything about Tourette’s but it was a really interesting subject to talk about.
