In this particular trailer, at the very end of it, we can see wall graffiti of a famous supervillain from the Spider-Man franchise, the Scorpion. And this minute detail has made a fan excited. So far, a total of 19 characters have been confirmed for the Marvel Finals roster.

However, there is no mention of the Scorpion in that confirmed character list. So, if this formidable character gets added to the game, then this is going to be a treat for the Spider-Man fans.

After seeing every detail and aspect of the game, the community has realized Marvel Rivals is something that could have been Spider-Man: The Great Web. The canceled live service title has broken many fans’ hearts.

Talking about the new map, the Tokyo of 2099 is free from the wrath of any Kaiju or giant robots. However, it’s now infested with mega-corporations like Alchemax. Even the superheroes have to move in the shadows, watching the streets of Shin-Shibuya.

Now all the responsibility lies on the shoulders of the Web-Warriors, aka Spider-Man, and his team to free Tokyo from Alchemax. And this is where fans have started realizing what they have missed in the name of Spider-Man: The Great Web. However, Marvel Rivals is surely going to fill the void.

The “s” at the end of “Web-Warriors” suggests that there won’t only be a single Spider-Man in action. Thanks to the multiverse theory, Gwen Stacy, Scarlet Spider, 2099, Miles Morales, Silk, the classic Spider-Man, and many more may feature in the game, just as the Great Web was supposed to but it is just pure speculation as of now.
