Jonathan Majors’ controversy is certainly a massive blow to Marvel Studios as they set up their Marvel Cinematic Universe around his character, Kang the Conqueror. Majors was immediately dropped from the franchise after the jury found Majors guilty of reckless assault in the third degree and guilty of harassment.
As per a very popular industry insider, MyTimeToShineHello, Marvel made a huge mistake by showing Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror in every universe. In a scene in 2023’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, fans can see that every Kang the Conqueror in the multiverse is Jonathan Majors so now, hiring a new actor for the role will certainly affect viewer’s experience.
Marvel made a mistake by showing Jonathan Majors as every Kang the Conqueror in the multiverse

By showing Jonathan Majors as every Kang the Conqueror in the multiverse in 2023’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Marvel made things tough for themselves. Fans also gave their opinion on Majors’ removal from the franchise.
It was stupid to make Kang as the sole villain of the multiverse saga!

Actually was a very good idea put the same great actor in every damn movie. Majors is a full range actor, nobody can deny this.
The weirdest thing is how Disney would put Marvel at risk in casting someone with a consistent abusive behavior like his, without an investigation.

Certainly needs revision, but it was an error only in retrospect. I think secret invasion as a whole was a mistake that everyone should have seen coming.

If Marvel showcased any other actor as Kang the Conqueror from another universe, they wouldn’t have a hard time replacing the actor, but since every version of Kang is Majors, Marvel can only replace the actor and proceed with the franchise as they intended.
Jonathon Majors has been fired
On December 18, 2023, Majors was found guilty of one count of reckless assault in the 3rd degree and a charge of harassment as a violation. Initially, when the accusations came forward, the United States Army announced they were suspending recruiting commercials that starred Majors, and even the management company Entertainment 360 and the public relations firm the Lede Company officially announced that they are no longer associated with Majors.
Disney officially scrapped Magazine Dreams, a movie featuring Majors that was initially set for release on December 8, 2023, and the actor has officially been removed from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. So, fans can now expect to see another actor to replace him very soon as Marvel has set up its entire current story arc around Majors’ Kang the Conqueror.
