Leak Hints at Star Wars Content for Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2

It's not just Greek gods coming to the new chapter of Fortnite.

The leak comes from the well-known Fortnite leaker, HYPEX on X. They put out a tweet with a picture of Chewbacca the Wookie, claiming the Wookie Bowcaster Weapon will be coming to the game. Epic Games always has something exciting planned for fans, and this news, if true, is going to please a lot of Star Wars fans out there.

This isn’t the very first time Fortnite has collaborated with Star Wars. In Chapter 3 Season 3, Darth Vader was introduced as a playable character for a limited amount of time. Epic Games has also signed a deal with Disney to make a Fortnite entertainment universe.

The reception to the leak is fairly positive, with several replies saying they can’t wait for this inclusion. Another comment was also not too far off-base; it’s definitely a weird inclusion for a season that is focused on Greek mythology. But, considering even Korra from the Avatar series is going to be making an appearance, it’s not out of the norm.

Speaking of Korra, Fortnite also has an upcoming collaboration with Avatar: The Last Airbender. It seems Epic Games is really touching on all things that are trending right now, and we can expect to see the Fortnite player numbers increase significantly with the release of the new chapter.

With Pandora’s Box now open and the start of the next chapter imminent, Fortnite players are all set for new content to sink hours into. Some of the new skins look truly amazing, and with bosses such as Zeus to take down, we can expect some truly legendary fights in the new chapter.

The player is going to continue having to deal with Valeria as well, as she is the focal antagonist in the chapter. New maps will make for some refreshing games, and a Star Wars blaster to take down some Greek gods sounds like a good time for everyone involved.

The tweet could also hint at a possible introduction of Chewbacca to the game. There is already a Wookie skin available, but including the character itself will be a real treat for fans.
