Zack Snyder’s dream DC Universe could never see its conclusion after a series of bad decisions by Warner Bros. led the DCEU to ruins. Although the world of Superman is now getting ready to usher in a new era with James Gunn’s DCU, the dreams of the SnyderVerse among the fans haven’t died till now.
It has been rumored for a long time that the SnyderVerse may make its way to Netflix as WBD is reluctant to revive the dead saga. It looks like a possibility now, as Netflix head Scott Stuber has recently addressed the rumor.
Zack Snyder’s DCEU saga started with Man of Steel and had an unfortunate end after a series of mishaps with the Josstice League being a significant mess. The fans had a brief victory over the studio when Warner Bros. agreed to release the Snyder Cut on Max. However, the happiness was short-lived as they were reluctant to show us the entire SnyderVerse.
What did Netflix say about Zack Snyder’s DC Universe?
Since Warner Bros. dropped Zack Snyder’s Justice League after the widespread request by the fans, there has been active demand by the DC fans to drop the SnyderVerse as well. However, the studio didn’t respond to the demands and moved on to set up a proper universe under James Gunn and Peter Safran’s leadership.
After Zack Snyder signed an exclusive deal with Netflix for a series of movies, there have been rumors that WBD might sell the SnyderVerse rights to the streaming giant. Recently, when the Netflix head of film Scott Stuber was asked about it by THR, he addressed that it’s not as easy as it seems- “That’s always tricky because you don’t own it.”
However, the hardcore DC fans were not left disappointed as the Netflix Executive has also spoken about the possibility of having the SnyderVerse on the platform. They have expressed their interest in having it and letting the fans experience more Zack Snyder content with whom they have worked on the Army of the Dead and Rebel Moon franchises.
“Obviously we would like to license it at some point. We’d love to have it on so that fans can experience more Zack. The more Zack we have, the better we are.”
It can’t be denied that this report by The Hollywood Reporter has raised a buzz among the fans for another Justice League movie with the OG stars. Nevertheless, it is also to be noted that Scott Stuber hasn’t confirmed anything as well.

Is SnyderVerse coming to Netflix?
Scott Stuber’s words have presented a silver lining for the Snyder fans who were excited to check out his entire vision of the universe. But it must be also noted that Zack Snyder’s filmography isn’t limited to DC. He is presently working on the Rebel Moon, which is defined as the R-rated Star Wars, and is also planning to develop it into a major IP.
Earlier, the Batman V. Superman director also took to a Vero (via @DCU Updates) post to hint that DC is a past story to him. He commented “That’s true” to a post stating that the SnyderVerse is over.
But recently most of the DCEU movies have been added to the Netflix library and more are expected to be added shortly. It can be assured that if Netflix brings the SnyderVerse, it will be a major move by the OTT platform. With the concept of Elseworlds also there in the present DCU, it will not raise any continuity issues with the main universe as well.
