Going by the official description for the livestream, it’s assumed it will be a 40-minute preview showcasing what’s next from Nintendo for the remainder of the year. The YouTube live stream video link has already gone up, with the usual countdown to the live event going on.

There’s still a lot to come from Nintendo for this year, and there will be future plans discussed in the stream as well.

Nintendo Direct Invite for September 2023 live stream will be accessible from 7 AM PT.

Nintendo is all set to discuss the Switch games coming out over the remainder of the year, with a 40-minute stream detailing them all. The official description for the stream on Nintendo.com reads:

“Tune in for a Nintendo Direct livestream featuring roughly 40 minutes for information focused on Nintendo Switch games releasing this winter.”

The Fall lineup from Nintendo is quite solid too, with games like Detective Pikachu Returns, Super Mario RPG’s remake, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince, and WarioWare: Move It! expected to get some updates during the stream. There might also be more gameplay of the Batman Arkham Trilogy that’s coming to Switch next month, on the 13th of October.

There were the usual fan reactions to Nintendo’s post, with fans predicting what to expect and what they would like to see in the Direct. It might be quite early in the morning for those in the Pacific or Eastern time zone, but fans wouldn’t mind that anyway.

Rumors Suggest Switch 2 Was Demoed During Gamescom Last Month, Ahead Of 2024 Launch

Nintendo Switch: The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Edition
Nintendo Switch The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Edition

As reported by Eurogamer earlier this month, there was a developer presentation behind closed doors that showcased a prototype of Switch 2 running Pikmin 4 and Super Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. It wouldn’t be too much to expect any sort of word about the next-gen console during the Direct or sometime before the end of the year.

The Direct, however, might just be the perfect place to leave a word and get the fans hyped. For obvious reasons, nothing much is known about the demos and about all the developers who managed to check it out. We also do not know their initial impressions about the purported Switch 2 console, but it is also rumored by VGC that if it does debut next year, it will be over the second half of 2024.
