Sterling K. Brown has been a massive talent in Hollywood who is getting the flowers for his work in “American Fiction”. Before the 2023 movie, he had made a name for himself in projects such as “Black Panther” and “Waves”.
It appears that the actor has already set his sights on his next project. Known for his dedication to family, Brown might be eyeing a story close to his heart. Wouldn’t it be amazing to see him explore relationship dynamics on-screen alongside his talented wife, Ryan Michelle Bathe?
Sterling K. Brown Wants to Make a Movie on the Ups And Downs of His Relationship With Ryan Michelle Bathe
Sterling K. Brown first met Ryan Michelle Bathe at Stanford as a college freshman. After eloping in 2006, the two had a grand celebration in June 2007. However, there is much more that happened before their happy ending, and Brown apparently wants to work on that story.
In a previous interview with The ET’s Nancy O’Dell, Brown revealed that the two have been strong together since April 2004. However, their journey before that period could make up for a good movie.
“We need to actually put pen to paper and get it produced because people wouldn’t believe it,” “The multitude of ups and downs that we went through before we finally got together and figured it out. [We] have been together solid since April 2004, [but] all the stuff that happened before that, it’s a good movie.”
While fans are not much aware of the ups and downs the two went through before 2004, Bathe shared some memories from their past. Speaking to OWN, she revealed that the two once broke up for over three years because her mother and grandmother believed Sterling was up to no good.
A potential project could see the two touching upon such instances of their lives. Brown and Bathe share great love and respect for each other. Their chemistry as a couple would be a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.
Sterling K. Brown & Her Wife Ryan Michelle Bathe Were Born In The Same Hospital
The love story of Brown and Bathe was one written in the stars. They were born in the same state, in the same city, and surprisingly, in the same hospital as well! They both went to the same undergrad schools and the same grad school, where they finally met at the age of 18, revealed Brown to ET.
“We went to undergrad together, we went to grad school together, we were born in St. Louis, Missouri, and even more impressive, we were born in the same hospital,” Brown said. “Crazier than that, our social security numbers are only three digits apart. Like, it’s crazy! But we didn’t meet until age 18, freshman year at Stanford University.” – Sterling K. Brown with The ET
After a roller coaster of a relationship, the two finally got back together in 2004, eloped in 2006, and organized a large celebration in 2007. The couple are proud parents to two sons, Andrew and Amaré.
