Getting a game right is no easy feat. There are a ton of different aspects to game development, and for the first Alan Wake to get as popular as it did was a testament to how well Remedy did.

Now, doing that twice? That’s even more difficult. When a game you love gets a sequel, there are a ton of expectations. You already have an idea of what you want, and no matter how perfect a game is, you’d want the second one to be even better. And, somehow, that’s exactly what the studio did with Alan Wake 2.

In our review, we said that the game isn’t just a lake, but the whole ocean. Knowing that, it’s easy to understand why so many people have been desperately waiting for news on a DLC. Thankfully, the wait might not be much longer.

A few hours ago, the official account for Remedy posted a mysterious image with text and logo for a company called ‘Poison Pill Entertainment,’ with the text ‘Since 1995 Night Springs City‘ written under it. Even the studio’s X/Twitter account was changed to display the logo.

Night Springs is the first DLC for the game that was announced a while back, and it’s been teased for a while with no release date in sight.

To add to that, one eagle-eyed X/Twitter user pointed out that the opposite of ‘Remedy’ is ‘Poison Pill.’ There’s little doubt that this hint is probably connected to the upcoming DLC, which might be released sooner rather than later.
