While he may play the role of the unhinged, off-the-wall, and motormouth mercenary known as Deadpool, Ryan Reynolds is just what he appears as the character on screen (except for the murders and despicable acts). Sticking true to his nature, he had a comical way of dealing with the Reed Richards situation in the Marvel franchise.

In his recent Instagram post, the star shared his first look and behind the scenes of his upcoming film IF, which is directed and written by Krasinski. But instead of him being in the video with The Office star, Randall Park could be seen impersonating him, claiming to be John Krasinski and also being one of the star cast of the upcoming film.

Thus, when it came to The Last of Us star. being announced as the Reed Richards of the main MCU timeline that is being developed in the franchise, he shared a photo on his Instagram story of Park replacing the face of Mr. Fantastic from Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness, the film where Krasinski played the role of Richards from an alternate universe.

Several weeks before Reynolds made this joke about Reed Richards, Pascal was almost confirmed to play the role of Mr. Fantastic in the MCU. But along with that, there were a couple more updates.

While Pascal himself has been quiet about this whole development, insider sources have revealed that the pre-production of the upcoming film is going in full swing with WandaVision director Matt Shakman helming the project which is being written by Ian Springer and Jeff Kaplan. So far, only Pascal is being confirmed for the film, while other stars still need to be brought in for the final ensemble.
