The latest official announcement mentioned that the anime is set to get a two-part documentary, The Leveling of Solo Leveling. It will explore the making of the anime. The documentary will feature the entire journey of the anime from Webtoon to anime. It will include the creation process behind the anime and have all the premieres in different countries.
Crunchyroll, along with Allso, a Paris-based production company, will be in charge of the documentary’s production. The Leveling of Solo Leveling has been shot in Japan and South Korea. There will be more than 20 interviews, including that of fans. Overall, it will be a great year for the fans.

The first episode of the two-part documentary will see the team go to South Korea and meet D&C Media, a webtoon publisher. Then, they will visit the biggest webtoon studio in the world, Redice. Both of them would lay down the picture of Solo Leveling’s beginning and how words turned into pictures and pictures turned into a finished web novel.
The second episode will see the team move to Japan to meet Aniplex and A-1 Pictures, who are the producers as well as the Director of the anime.
