Is Solo Leveling Live Action Happening?
Unfortunately, there has been no such news about Solo Leveling getting a live adaptation. After much speculation, it got adapted into anime. Season 1 is scheduled to have 24 episodes, divided into two segments of 12 episodes with a three-month gap in between. For the moment, the creators are busy with the anime. Most likely, it will have multiple seasons.
Amidst the season, the anime is also set to get a two-part documentary, The Leveling of Solo Leveling, which will explore the behind-the-scenes and interviews of the fans and executives. After Netflix’s One Piece Live Action became a massive success, it opened the path for other anime to explore the path. Many anime like Naruto and Yu Yu Hakusho will be getting a live adaptation.
So, it won’t be a surprise if Solo Leveling gets one too. But at the moment, it is going for baby steps. First webtoon, second anime, and then it might venture the live-action path. When the time is right, the creators will surely surprise us. For the time being, let us enjoy the anime and appreciate the fan-made teaser for getting our hopes high.
Solo Leveling can be streamed on Crunchyroll.
