Invincible became so popular on Amazon Prime Video that even before season one had concluded, fans were requesting a second season. Fortunately, Prime Video was taking note. Robert Kirkman’s show was renewed for a second season and a third in April 2021 after some efforts, fan petitions, and hashtags!
Part one of Season Two was finally released on Amazon Prime in November 2023 after a two-and-a-half-year wait. However, production issues resulted in further delays for the remaining episodes of Part 2, even though all eight episodes were scheduled to premiere at this time. After much anticipation on the part of fans, it has now been confirmed that the first episode of Season Two (Part Two) will now debut on Thursday, March 14.
Subsequently, the final three episodes will be made available on the platform every week. This show will have you gripped from beginning to end with its incredible action scenes, surprising narrative turns, and exceptional voice cast.
It is obvious that you simply cannot afford to miss out on all the excitement, as even critics are raving about this action-packed series.
Critics’ Insight: Get Ready to Embark on the Thrilling Journey of Invincible Season 2
With its final four episodes, Invincible Season 2, Part 2 returns after a shocking conclusion to the first half of the season. Major storylines involving Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun), Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons), Angstrom Levy (Sterling K. Brown), and other characters progressed in the second half of season 2, which is an animated adaptation of Robert Kirkman’s comic of the same name.
Invincible Season 2 (Part 2) has gotten rave reviews from both critics and fans, and for good reason. The show’s dynamic storytelling, complex characters, and stunning animation all combine to make it a must-see viewing experience. Each episode is an emotional rollercoaster that will leave you wanting more, from the heart-pounding fight scenes to the touching character moments.
But do not simply take our word for it. Critics have been singing the praises of part two of the second season, and it has been hailed as one of the best-animated series of the year. Let us hear some of the verdicts from critics. Wade (reviewer for the Hollywood handle) posted an evaluation via X:

Steven Yeun’s show received a 9 out of 10 from Collider, which wrote:
“The second half of Invincible Season 2 doubles down on character growth while still maintaining the same amount of action and violence.”
Meanwhile, The Verge also applauded the action series’ second installment, writing:
“Invincible definitely feels like it’s pumped the brakes just a bit as its second season opens on Mark and the rest of the world still trying to make sense of how to recover from Omni-Man’s betrayal.”
Gamesradar, who gave it four out of five stars, expressed their appreciation and stated:
“It’s a disruptive masterstroke that will pay dividends for years to come, and is immediately followed by a rollercoaster of a finale that places several playful multiverse winks and nods on top of an emotionally-charged showdown with Angstrom Levy.”
Well, this proves the second part is sure to make an impression, with its thought-provoking themes and flawless execution catering to a wide audience.
When Will The Second Part of Invincible Season Two Air?
It is now official that Prime Video will host the premiere of the second installment of the second season on Thursday, i.e., March 14. The final three episodes will then be made available on the platform every week, following the same schedule as the first installment, which aired in November.
Luckily, co-executive producer Robert Kirkman—who also created the original comic book series—has promised that seasons two and three will air much closer together. He told Collider a few months prior to the release of the first half of season two:
“This is the pain. This area right now is the pain for Invincible fans. So once we’re through this, once season two comes out, hopefully, it should be smooth sailing from there on. There won’t be these big, large gaps, theoretically.”
Therefore, do not miss out on the excitement; catch Invincible Season 2 and see for yourself why critics call it a game-changer.
The first four episodes of both Invincible’s first and second seasons are currently available to stream on Prime Video. Weekly episodes of season two, part two, will be available starting on March 14.
