Yes, it’s finally here. The release of the nail-biting trailer for part two of Invincible Season 2 caused fans to go into an exhilarating frenzy. From unexpected alliances to heart-stopping action sequences, the upcoming episodes seem to be a wild ride that will leave us begging for answers. Also, take note that the decision by Amazon to divide the second season of its remarkable animated superhero series by Robert Kirkman into two parts has been somewhat not warmly received.
Well, following the first four episodes of Invincible season 2, which debuted on Prime Video on November 24, 2023, fans were forced to endure a torturous four months without new developments in the story of Mark Grayson, a.k.a. Invincible. Thankfully, part two of Invincible Season 2 is going to be available shortly (next month). To brighten the situation, Prime Video has just released an intriguing teaser for upcoming content.
Invincible Season 2 Part Two: Fans Go Wild As The Trailer Unveils Jaw-Dropping Twists
The following month was already set aside for the premiere of Invincible Season 2’s second half. And Butter on the Bread is the latest trailer released by Prime Video.
As expected, the main focus of the trailer is Mark Grayson (voiced by Steven Yeun), following the events of the fourth episode of Invincible Season 2. It also hints at a fresh foe that poses a threat to Earth. The trailer also features another glimpse at Angstrom Levy (voiced by Sterling K. Brown), the villain who made his debut in the first half of Season 2 and who can travel through portals to other dimensions.
After a brief wait for the second batch, which concluded in November 2023, fans must wait less than a month. The unexpected alliances that have emerged are among the most fascinating aspects of the incredible Season 2 Part Two trailer.
And now fans have to brace themselves for the fallout as long-time rivals team up and new antagonists emerge from the shadows. Viewers are left wondering why these unlikely alliances are occurring because the trailer teases mind-bending team-ups. Check out some fans’ reactions:

Creator Robert Kirkman: Why Invincible Season 2 Was Divided Into Two Parts
The second season premiere of Invincible drew an impressive crowd of viewers, far larger than that of the first season. This time, the story is divided in half for a variety of reasons, as creator Robert Kirkman explained in an interview with Collider.
Fans will have to wait until Season 2 ends in large part due to that drawn-out “production process”. Although Kirkman promised a shorter wait for Season 3, he is well aware that it has been far too long since we last saw Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun) on screen:
“It’s a little bit of the production process just because ramping things up has taken a lot longer than we thought.”
The popularity of Invincible’s second season has tripled over that of its first, proving the program’s extraordinary success. Furthermore, in an interview with Deadline, executive producer Marge Dean revealed that Amazon did not make a substantial investment in the series.
“I love Amazon, they’re great, but there was barely any marketing for this show. This thing just popped up but I had no idea what it was or what was going to happen.”
As we eagerly await the release of the second installment of season 2, we can all raise a collective toast to the incredible creative team behind Invincible.
The second part of Invincible Season 2 will debut on Prime Video on March 14, 2024.
Invincible’s first two seasons are currently available for streaming.
