PlayStation 5 fans are super hyped about the upcoming action-adventure game Stellar Blade. This game would no doubt be very successful upon launch. Fans of the game are already geared up for it, searching every high and low of the internet for more details regarding this game.
But one must know that Stellar Blade is not the only game released this year. And it is not the only game coming to PlayStation 5 either. It would be the only exclusive, yes, but still, there are numerous games on the way to all the platforms in the coming months that would hype up fans of gaming everywhere. Here are some of those games.
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II
Ninja Theory is developing this much-awaited sequel to their 2017 hit Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. They called their previous title an indie AAA game. Their new game is going to be made with a much larger budget and would definitely fit the definition of an AAA game. If its numerous trailers are anything to go by, this game looks incredible, and knowing that Melina Juergens, the actress who played Senua in the original, is making a comeback, one can be assured that this title will have an incredible performance.
One thing that everyone is curious about is how they will treat Senua’s psychosis this time around. Their implementation of that condition was to the point in the first game.
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II will be launching exclusively for Xbox Series consoles and PCs on May 21, 2024.
Black Myth: Wukong
Back in 2020, a developer by the name of Game Science decided to reveal an incredibly beautiful action-open-world game. Black Myth is based on Sun Wukong, who is also known as the Monkey King. Built on the Unreal Engine, this game looked just too good to be true. It played like an incredibly well-designed hack-and-slash title with some Dark Souls mechanics mixed into it. Players would be able to explore a massive mystical world and defeat some very interestingly designed bosses in this game.
For the longest time, people had their doubts about it. But the developers surprised everyone during the Game Awards 2023 by announcing its launch date. It will be launching for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series consoles, and PCs on August 20, 2024.
Star Wars: Outlaws
Disney has made it its mission to give Star Wars fans as many games in this franchise as possible. EA has been hitting it out of the park with the Jedi: Fallen Order and Jedi: Survivor titles. Quantic Dream is also heading towards making a cinematic Star Wars title that will launch—who knows when? The most surprising one turned out to be Ubisoft, which announced Star Wars: Outlaws a while ago.
This open-world action-adventure title features an original main character who, along with an adorable companion, goes around the galaxy doing odd jobs. The game’s first showcase was filled with stealth sequences and explosive chase sequences. This has raised the hype amongst the fans through the roof.
This game will be launching for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series consoles, and PC later this year.
