The film is exceptionally touching and features amazing performances from its actors. Still, The Iron Claw was overlooked by the Oscars, receiving zero nods.

Jeremy Allen White Unfazed by Oscars Snub for The Iron Claw
Jeremy Allen White starred in The Iron Claw alongside Zac Efron, Harris Dickinson, and Holt McCallany. The film received a lot of praise but didn’t get nominated for any major awards.
During the SAG Awards, White was talking about The Iron Claw. He stated that although the movie didn’t get nominations, what matters most is the experience he had making it. The33-year-old is proud of the positive response he’s getting from fans. White said (via CBR):
“You know, I don’t really know. I mean, all this stuff is amazing, and it feels really good. You work hard at something, and you’re rewarded in this way. But, also, so much of this is out of our control, and I think when I go to work, so much of it is about the experience, and if the experience is fulfilling, and if I enjoy the people I’m around, that’s a win for me. And, outside of that, it’s like, you never really know what’s going to click with the masses. You never really know what people are going to be taken with, and, I know that. So, it’s okay for me.”
Commenting that even though the film didn’t receive any nominations, he’s “really proud of it, and I think a lot of people came out to see it, and so I’m happy about that as well.”
The actor appreciates being recognized for his work on The Iron Claw, and believes that awards aren’t everything. Despite the film not getting any nominations, he remains proud of its accomplishments and the support from the audience, which matters most to him.
Fans Reactions to Oscars Snubbing The Iron Claw
Fans are disappointed that the movie didn’t receive any Oscar nods. They find it hard to believe that despite everything being right, the voters still overlooked it.
Other fans think there are reasons why The Iron Claw wasn’t nominated. They say it came out late, so not many people saw it when the voting process began.

Meanwhile, White won the SAG Award for Best Male Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in The Bear. More than that, he has won a Primetime Emmy Award and two Golden Globes for his role in the show. Now, the NY native can be seen back on the small screen with the Season 3 premiere of The Bear in June.
