Let us move on to the discussion of Galactus and the Silver Surfer. Fans have been anticipating the arrival of these cosmic characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for a very long time.

In addition, Marvel is searching for a suitable actor to play the Silver Surfer, who will also be appearing in the movie.

Also, Blade Casting Is Expected To Be Revealed At SDCC 2024

Rumors are swirling that SDCC will reveal the casting choices for Marvel’s iconic characters, giving us a glimpse of who will bring these larger-than-life beings to life on screen. Many fans will be looking forward to seeing Galactus and the Silver Surfer in action at SDCC.

Finally, we have Blade. The new Blade movie was first unveiled in July 2019 at San Diego Comic-Con (per Collider). President of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige declared that Mahershala Ali, a multiple Oscar winner, would play the lead role.

But as the rumors suggest, SDCC might disclose Blade’s confirmed casting decision, providing us a sneak peek at the person playing this vamp-hunting hero. In addition to providing an update on filming, Marvel disclosed at their SDCC 2022 panel that Blade would hit theaters on November 3, 2023. Nevertheless, the movie was postponed nine months, to September 6, 2024, after the director left the project.

THR claimed that the date was rescheduled after Stacy Osei-Kuffour joined the team in order to give the studio more time to collaborate with her on the script. Since the movie is still undergoing script rewrites, the simultaneous WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes prevented all work on the project from being completed. Although the movie is still scheduled for release in 2024, we should not be shocked if there is yet another postponement.

At this point, the schedule could still change.
