In a recent interview with TheStreamr, The Walking Dead showrunner was asked whether the crossover between Invincible and Prime Video’s other super hit series The Boys could happen in the future, and answering, he replied that it was definitely a possibility in the future.

Since the show also has a spin-off series, titled The Boys Presents: Diabolical, it’ll not be completely out of the picture to make the fans’ wish into reality. He said:

“I mean, I guess there’s always a possibility. I think that the two worlds are so very different; there’s some difficulty there. It would obviously work in the Invincible universe.”

Therefore, fans can get even more excited for the future of both series as the heavily fantasized fight between Homelander and Omni-Man is still a very real possibility.

How Will The Crossover Happen?

In the interview, Kirkman further explained how the new antagonist of his current series Angstrom Levy, who was introduced in the second season could be the key to the crossover between the two shows in the future.

As we have already seen in the series, Levy has the powers of Multiverse Manipulation where he possesses the ability to create cross-dimensional portals through his power. Since this power is available in the series now, the possibility of the emergence of Homelander or anyone else from The Boys universe isn’t a far-fetched fever dream anymore.
