While it presented a unique and psychologically driven show mixed with supernatural elements, fans were quite mixed about the characterization of Moon Knight itself and the cliffhanger ending. Popular scooper/ industry insider on X named MyTimeToShineHello has now claimed that Marvel Studios did not make full use of the character’s full potential.

MyTimeToShineHello stated that Moon Knight could have been Marvel’s version of Batman but they failed to do so writing, “This could have been Marvel’s Batman but they blew it”. They have failed to capitalize on the character as Moon Knight has not appeared in any MCU project since the end of his show and he/she feels that was a wasted opportunity.

Isaac is expected to return at some point in the MCU but the lack of updates regarding the character’s future has left fans confused as the show’s ending teased an exciting future. It remains to be seen if the character contributes to the whole multiverse saga. Fans can watch Moon Knight on Disney+.

Since the end of Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight, the character has yet to be seen in the MCU. Fans have been clamoring to see more of the character in the franchise and so does Isaac himself. During a panel at the Middle East Film and Comic Con, the actor shared his hopes about where he wants to see the character next.

Isaac revealed that he wants to see the character join the eponymous Marvel team Midnight Suns. He further expressed his desire to explore the different personalities within Marc Spector and how the exciting possibilities it will bring. He said (via X),

“I thought there was an interesting opportunity with Midnight Suns. There’s such interesting characters in there, and now that we’ve set the groundwork with learning who Marc, Steven, Jake are, it could be an interesting opportunity to see him as part of a team and what that dynamic would be. So I think that would be exciting, I think for me, I definitely hope there’s some room to explore that possibility.”

Outside of the Marvel universe, Isaac is set to star as Victor Frankenstein in Guillermo del Toro’s adaptation of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. He will also star in the drama film In the Hand of Dante alongside Jason Momoa, Gerard Butler, and Gal Gadot.
