Fortnite is known for collaborating with big media franchises, especially anime series like Naruto, Dragon Ball, One Piece, My Hero Academia, etc. However, this time, fans may not be happy with the alleged Jujutsu Kaisen collaboration. The reason for this is that, according to the reports, the character list that is announced does not include any villains from the series.

The previous collaboration, too, only focused on the protagonists of the Jujutsu Kaisen series. The antagonists of the series, which include Ryomen Sukuna, Toji Fushiguro, Geto Suguru, etc., are a big deal among anime fans. This has led to fans getting disappointed and sharing their disappointment on X (formerly Twitter).

A popular Fortnite leaker, @Wensoing on X, shared the news about Fortnite introducing new Jujutsu Kaisen skins in the game. The characters that have been focused on this time are Yuta Okkotsu, Maki Zenin, and Panda.

Yuta Okkotsu was the protagonist of the movie Jujutsu Kaisen 0, which was released in 2021 and was one of the biggest releases of that year.

Jujutsu Kaisen already collaborated with Fortnite in 2023, as part of Chapter 4 Season 3, to help promote Season 2 of the anime series, which focused on the Shibuya Incident arc of the original manga series by Gege Akutami. The characters introduced at that time were Gojo Satoru, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, and the protagonist, Yuji Itadori.

The series also introduced multiple accessories along with the characters, like Yuji Itadori’s slaughter demon, Nobara’s straw doll and hammer, Megumi’s sword, and the shikigamis from Megumi’s ten shadows technique: Kon, Nue, and the Winged Toad. This was one of the biggest collaborations by Jujutsu Kaisen since its release in 2020.

Anime Fans Are Not Happy With Fortnite’s Collaboration With Jujutsu Kaisen 0

Although the alleged collaboration between Jujutsu Kaisen 0 and Fornite is a big deal, fans are still not happy with the news. The reason behind this is that Fornite has not included any villains from the entire series until now.

The antagonist characters from the series are quite popular among anime and manga fans, and some even have fanbases of their own. Fans hoped for the introduction of villains like Sukuna or Toji last year, too, but were disappointed after seeing the character list.

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 had Geto Suguru as the antagonist, and his inclusion would have satisfied fans, but after looking at the alleged characters that are part of the collaboration, fans are not too keen on the news.
