Hollywood heartthrob Timothée Chalamet is riding incredibly high on the tides of success and fortune after his recently released masterpieces boosted his fame to unimaginable extents. And as it turns out, he has no intention of slowing down anytime soon, with his next project expected to bring about his debut in the DC universe.
According to recent reports, the raging hotshot earned another scoring deal with Warner Bros. after the immaculate success of his two recent blockbusters, Wonka and Dune: Part Two. And because of this very deal, fans are now praying more than ever that it all results with Chalamet scoring a role in the multi-billionaire superhero franchise.
Timothée Chalamet Scores Another Deal with Warner Bros.
Just like big production companies tend to do with every other hotshot in the entertainment industry, Warner Bros. has seized the chance to double down on business with Chalamet as well. As per the reports by Variety, the 28-year-old Hollywood phenomenon has scored a rather juicy deal with Warner Bros.
The reports state that WB has notably signed a multi-year feature film deal with Timothée Chalamet to collaborate on future projects as both an actor as well as a producer. Additionally, the first-look agreement allows him to make films elsewhere, but Warner Bros. will reportedly “get first dibs on backing his potential projects.”
This star-studded deal comes after Wonka and Dune 2 became his consecutive blockbusters for WB, garnering a stunning $632 million (via Box Office Mojo) and $577 million globally and counting (via Box Office Mojo) respectively, and reportedly making him the first star in 40 years “to star in the top two domestic films that were released in eight months.”
As per a joint statement released by the co-chairmen and CEOs of Warner Bros.’ Motion Picture Group, Mike De Luca and Pam Abdy, it was Chalamet’s “commitment to his craft” and “his unwavering dedication to give 100% of his time and attention to every project he has made” that scored him this deal which has left Warner Bros. absolutely “thrilled.”
What’s even more than all of this is the fact that with this new deal, there is a massive chance that the Lady Bird star might get cast in the currently-in-the-works Teen Titans movie (as reported by THR) in the role that he has been heavily fan-cast: Dick Grayson, aka Nightwing.
And while nothing is confirmed for now about his DCU debut, fans are holding high hopes for the same.
Fans Hope this New Deal lands the Dune 2 star in a Superhero Costume at DC
Chalamet is inevitably one of the most famous fan-castings for the role of Nightwing in the DC Universe, and these reports of his new deal with Warner Bros. have further fueled fans’ hopes of seeing him in the fan-favorite role of the Teen Titans‘ captain.
While a lot of fans are busy commending the Dune star over such impressive success and accomplishments, even calling him a “movie star” now, others, in the meanwhile, are seeing this as a chance for Chalamet to finally debut in the superhero franchise.
All in all, taking to X, here’s what they’re saying:

Well, for what it’s worth, to hope that Timothée Chalamet actually ends up playing the fan-favorite role in the franchise that is currently being led under the supervision of James Gunn and Peter Safran as its respective CEOs wouldn’t be a dream too far-fetched.
Chalamet’s Dune: Part Two is out in theatres now.
