Just after he was appointed as the co-CEO of DCU, he removed the top fan-favorite actors from the franchise, Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, and Gal Gadot. They were the ones who carried the franchise when it was dying and they get ousted for it, and for the simple fact that they will not fit in the new DCU that Gunn was making. Hollywood’s one of the most famous actors, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson also could not stand up to him and was also removed from the franchise after his Black Adam.
