One never knows what or who is lying out there, that is the essence of a beloved Call of Duty multiplayer game mode. After the poor reception from the community, Modern Warfare 3 players are engaging in a heated debate to bring Prop Hunt into its multiplayer. The game mode was first officially introduced in 2017 in CoD: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered and has since made a place in lockers of players’ hearts.

A player either acts as a prop which can be anything that is part of the game’s environment, or a hunter who’s trying to take blind shots hoping to kill the opponent disguised as an object. Props come with three advantages, a flash, a decoy, and a prop change. The first one is typically the most useful against enemies. Appears like players want to experience it again.

Users are willing to start a campaign to bring back the mode in the multiplayer setting of the current Call of Duty installment. A Redditor called Electronic_Essay 3403 posted in a Modern Warfare 3-focused subreddit that,

Prop hunt is one of my favorite modes but I have to download ww2 to play prop hunt or cold war. Plz bring it back I know I’m not alone on this! Everyone up vote this maybe they will bring it back would be so cool.

The energy from other users is worthwhile on the post. Everyone appears to have gotten nostalgic over it. A user dubbed leteciobkect called Prop Hunt “the most fun gamemode.” The game mode has been missing since Black Ops: Cold War and it’s clear as day that fans want it back.
Since the latest installment’s release, developers have included multiple game modes including vortex and gunfight to the game.

If That’s The Case Players May Stick to Warzone Only

Open-combat missions have proven to be the worst CoD feature.

The return of Prop Hunt would give Modern Warfare 3 the love it has been craving since it came into existence. After knowing the ropes of scarce novel ideas in its campaign and multiplayer, fans and critics came down to the same side of the fence. Though it is said the world is an extremely unreliable critic, it definitely isn’t the case here, especially when its open combat missions are taken into account.

Developers did revolutionize the Call of Duty franchise with the new Modern Warfare 3 as none of its games has received so much backlash from the Call of Duty community in the past. Hopefully, this will be the worst-case scenario for Activision as it advances further.

The next game in the franchise is yet to be confirmed but it will likely revisit the Black Ops franchise, moving from the Cold War setting to the Gulf War. Furthermore, it will reportedly feature open-combat missions like MW3. If that’s the case, fans may choose to play Warzone for that’s more intriguing.
