This uncertainty extends beyond “Deadpool 3.” The entire Marvel Cinematic Universe seems to be undergoing significant changes. The latest updates surrounding “Captain America 4” have left many scratching their heads, casting doubt on the studio’s overall plan.

Recently, industry insider Daniel Richtman reported that Marvel Studios is looking for new characters to replace the Serpent Society in Brave New World. This comes as a shock for fans who were waiting to watch The Serpent Society in MCU with one fan exclaiming that he “was so excited when (he) first found the SS were going to be in the movie.”

As the name suggests, Serpent Society is a team of snake-themed villains. While their inclusion or exclusion in the movie has never been made official, fans will be disappointed if they don’t see the society slithering into the MCU.

While Captain America 4 is still about a year from now, Marvel is not shying away from reshooting a movie that is just four months away. As per RichtmanDeadpool & Wolverine will go through some reshoots in May, just a couple of months before its release. While some fans have high hopes for these reshoots – like the debut of Henry Cavill, others think these would be just some minor changes.

Either way, fans are confused over the future of MCU as they are reconsidering their ideas for two of their biggest projects. The possible reason for the Deadpool reshoot is the Writer’s Guild of America strike last year. The movie had to start filming during the strike and no script changes were possible at that time. Thus, the creators are going for some minor changes now, when things are done and settled.

However, the rumored changes in Captain America 4 might be a decision to change things on a bigger scale. Recently, Jonathan Majors, the actor for Kang was parted ways with. With his exclusion, fans believe that MCU will eventually move on from the idea of making Kang the big bad for the Mutliversal Era.

Now with the news of the change of plans, some fans believe that these changes might be a part of some big shift. If not the Serpent Society, whom can Marvel possibly feature in the movie? The inclusion of Doom Squad will definitely end the chapter for Kang and give Doctor Doom the position he deserves in the MCU.
