Among the supporting characters of the show, Angus Cloud and Hunter Schafer were absolute standout who impressed audiences with their relatable characters Fez and Jules who have their own relationships with Zendaya’s Rue. In a recent interview with GQ, Schafer recalled his personal relationship with Cloud and the significant contribution he made to the show.

Schafer stated that Cloud was one of the heartbeats of the show. She is sad that such a kind and gentle soul was taken away too soon. She further called Cloud an angel and a ray of sunshine that brought so much warmth and joy to all of his castmates. She said,

“He was really one of the heartbeats of ‘Euphoria.’ It’s always the people that are just kind of a little too good for the world and a little too pure. He was a f**king angel. He was sunshine.”

The tragic death of Cloud and the dual Hollywood strikes halted the production of the third season of the show (via Variety). Additionally, it was recently reported that the season was delayed indefinitely yet again although HBO is committed to making a third season. Industry insider Jeff Sneider has reported that the delay is partially due to Zendaya’s commitment to Spiderman 4. It remains to be seen if a third season ever happens or if it gets eventually canceled.
