Amid the Deadpool 3 hype escalation after the release of the first trailer of the movie at Super Bowl 2024, Pyro’s return has been one of the most talked about aspects of the upcoming film. Aaron Stanford’s character has received a splendid screen presence exclusively confirming his return.
Did you expect Pyro in Deadpool 3? Probably not! Deadpool’s brilliant narcissistic delivery “I am the Messiah, Marvel Jesus” has certainly made all fans hooked as it immediately went viral and proudly dominated astounding discussion orbiting around the film. Amid several talks of the movie, Aaron Stanford’s Pyro has also extended the hype even further after appearing in the first trailer of Deadpool & Wolverine.
“God, I love this part,” Pyro appeared on the trailer sitting, perhaps in the void, as Deadpool jumped into a gory fight. After his appearance in the trailer, Stanford revealed a detailed behind-the-scenes image from the movie. “Welly welly welly well. If it isn’t our old Droogie Pyro,” Stanford captioned the photo on his Instagram. He looks battle-ready in his costume.
Pyro’s return nearly after twenty years was surprising for many fans, but it has created the excitement even further. The character appeared in a red and yellow costume complementing his trademark red goggles. Now the question is, where would Pyro stand in the movie? Only time will tell.
Aaron Stanford Reprising Pyro, Who is He?
If you are out of context, we have you covered. St. John Allerdyce, popularly known as Pyro, has been a prominent X-Men villain, a sworn enemy of the mutant superhero groups. He can control fire.
The cinematic appearance of Stanford’s character marked his prominence in Bryan Singer’s 2003 movie X2 and Brett Ratner-directed 2006 Fox film X-Men: The Last Stand. With Shawn Levy’s directorial and Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman starrer movie, Deadpool & Wolverine, Stanford’s Pyro is set to appear on screen for the third time.
“I’m very excited to be revisiting this role,” Stanford told Deadline of his return. “And couldn’t think of a better place for Pyro’s resurrection than the Deadpool universe,” he added.
As Reynolds and Jackman joined hands to save the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it is obvious that the movie is destined to be a huge hit. Who else could save the MCU? Deadpool is the only Messiah, the Marvel Jesus. Deadpool & Wolverine is scheduled to hit the screen on 26 July 2024.
