Getting in a car with strangers, the people happened to be kind enough to drop David at the studio instead of kidnapping him. In a strange yet hilarious turn of events, Larry David revealed that he wouldn’t mind getting kidnapped just so he could escape his boring life!

“Well, what’s interesting is that people are very nice to me in New York. One time, I was, I was supposed to be on ‘Letterman’ and the car wasn’t there to pick me up. And so I was late and I went out into the street, like, looking for a cab, and I’m looking around and – and all of a sudden, a car pulls up”

He further continued,

“‘Hey Larry, where you going?’ I said ‘You know, I’m going to West Side’ ‘Come on in, Get in’. A stranger picked me up, took me to the show”

As the interview further continued, Jimmy Fallon asked the comedian whether he was worried about getting into a car with strangers. Well, Larry David decided not to stop at a simple “no” as he revealed how he would like to be kidnapped once!

The comedian’s brilliant idea was to get kidnapped once so that he could get out of his boring life and that’s what he told Jimmy Fallon in the interview!

“What, the worst that could happen. What? They kidnap me? So what? I’d like that! That would be fun. I think a little kidnap sojourn would be a lot of fun. It’d be different. You know, life’s so boring. And all of a sudden… you’re kidnapped! ‘Oh my God! Look at this, I’m kidnapped!'”

Relaxing in his life a little, Larry David was last seen as an actor in Toast of Tinseltown back in 2022 while his famous series, Curb Your Enthusiasm recently released on 4 February 2024 which marks the end of the series. The 2000 series is available to stream on Max in the U.S.
