While fans are desperately waiting to finally see Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson embrace his new look as the Captain in his upcoming solo movie Captain America 4, they aren’t too sure about Danny Ramirez’s beloved character Joaquín Torres. In fact, if anything, they are deeply worried about the latter’s character in the movie after recent updates about Captain America: Brave New World.

A major reason behind this reaction from fans is the superhero costume that Ramirez would be sporting in the film after his character replaced Wilson to become the new Falcon. And as much as they hate to admit it, seeing him in his new look has fans feeling that he looks more like the Vulture from the Spider-Man saga than anywhere close to how perfect Wilson looked as the superhero.

Joaquín Torres’ New Suit for Falcon in Captain America 4 Revealed

Ever since Anthony Mackie‘s solo movie as the new Captain America was announced, fans were super excited about it all, especially about Joaquín Torres finally donning the Falcon’s suit after having replaced him. But this new update has them more discouraged about it all than ever.

Recently, McDonald’s officially set up a promotional ad for Captain America: Brave New World, which featured Danny Ramirez‘s Torres soaring in the sky as the new replacement to Sam Wilson’s old superhero while Mackie was seen in his new superhero’s suit.

But while fans are happy to get this update (via @UpToTASK on X), they are disappointed after seeing Torres in the suit he would notably be sporting in the upcoming movie. This is because the suit is nothing close to the one Wilson wore during his tenure as the respective hero.

Although, yes, his suit is notably close to the one from the comics when it comes to the greens and the greys as well as the helmet and the wings, things still seem to be going a bit downward for fans. This is because his new suit reminds fans of one other character from the MCU.

This other character is none other than the iconic villain from the Spider-Man saga, The Vulture. As much as we hate to admit it, this new suit is giving off those exact same vibes rather than the ones Wilson gave as the Falcon, which is not a good sign.

Needless to say, this is the very reason why fans are currently panicking over social media about how Ramirez’s hero could very well not be received nicely if he continues to give off the same vibes through his suit as the web-slinger’s villain did.

Fans Aren’t Happy with Joaquín Torres’ New Suit for Brave New World

Obviously, those Vulture-like vibes after seeing him in his new superhero costume are giving fans second thoughts about Captain America: Brave New World. Although they admit the suit’s similarity to the one Torres’ comic-book counterpart donned, they still aren’t too sure about it.

While some of the fans have even begun to crack jokes about this as they take his new look most sarcastically, others are simply expressing how this has been another major turn-off for them for the film that would mark Mackie’s solo debut as the new Captain America.

All in all, here’s how fans are being brutally honest about their reactions to this news on X:

Well, for what it’s worth, these fan reactions are only about the suit and not about Torres as Falcon in the movie. So if Marvel intends to continue with this suit, then the best we can expect is for Ramirez to give a beyond-excellent performance that makes fans forget all about the suit.
