From sending Terminids flying in a hole to making them chase straight into chasms, the players are having a lot of fun in this Galactic War. Sometimes it is just dumb luck, but that too is a sight to behold when the game is a cinematic feast.
The game has been out for a couple of months only and it has been rising in popularity and sales too. The latest data shows it is already outselling Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 in the United Kingdom. It is estimated to have sold over 8 Million copies globally and the numbers are expected to rise as more players join the fight for democracy.
The Turret Proved to Be One Trustworthy Helldiver
Even the turrets in the game seem to have been doing justice to the name of the game. A player was seen flying from one place to another in one of the Helldivers 2 clips shared over the social media platform X (formerly Twitter). Thanks to one turret he was standing beside. In a nutshell, it was one hell of a dive.
“The turret decided I was in the wrong spot … I guess,” the post reads. The player was aiming for one Terminid and missed. The timing for the event was too perfect as the Helldiver had a better angle to kill the bug following his dive.

The internet is currently filled with hilarious moments that can leave any gamer awestruck while having the laugh of their lives. This is also among the reasons why Helldivers 2 is excelling amid the turbulent gaming market.
Things Will Likely Get a Lot Harder in Helldivers 2
These neat little tricks, or just the dumb luck, could come in handy when the Automatons return, or maybe against a bigger threat than that called the Illuminate. Recently, Helldivers successfully drove their metallic enemies back that took over their favorite planet Malevelon Creek. The odds of Automatons’ return are more in contrast to the Illuminate as the faction is among the game’s core elements.
Everything depends on the mood of Game Master Joel as he is revealed to be pulling the strings in the game. Given his power, he could make the pigs fly if he felt the need. Players went mad at him when they found that he was the one responsible for Automatons’ conquering of Malevelon Creek.
There’s a lot to unfold in Helldivers 2 and things are likely to get a lot harder, especially if the Illuminate arrives in the game. The advanced civilization was featured in the original game but by the deeds, they won’t be very civilized to the Helldivers busy in liberating Super Earth.
