Since then, he has put on the Captain America costume for more than 10 other films, ending his stint with Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. Naming Captain America: The Winter Soldier as his pick, Evans said it is “my personal favorite Marvel movie that I was a part of.”

“When ‘Winter Solider’ came around, we were playing to win. And it’s the first movie with the Russo Brothers. We were taking more risks and the character felt more fleshed out. It was one of the more satisfying experiences I’ve had in my Marvel run.”

Captain America: The Winter Soldier was the second film in the Captain America storyline after The First Avenger. It starred Evans in the titular role and Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/ Winter Soldier. Considered one, if not the best movie in the MCU, The Winter Soldier has some of the best storytelling as well as action sequences. With its gritty tone, emotional impact, and perfect timing for action and humor without one lapping over the other, the movie is a fan favorite and rightfully so.

He further added,

“Making a movie is tough. More cooks in the kitchen doesn’t make it easier. I don’t want to highlight specific films in the Marvel catalogue but some of them are phenomenal. Like independently, objectively great movies, and I think they deserve a little more credit.”

Though a lot of filmakers and artists have come up saying comic book movies are nothing much, and all but green-screen business, the actor reminded fans that even this green-screen business is a lot more work that people think. And the people who entertain us with these movies deserve to get the credit from those who they make it for.
