Lauded as one of the standout Marvel series within the beloved superhero franchise, Tom Hiddleston’s Loki has captivated audiences since its debut in 2021. Season 1 of the series, which showcased various iterations of the God of Mischief, along with its second season has served as a source of delight for fans, particularly in light of some lackluster cinematic performances within the MCU.
However, with the potential conclusion of the show looming and the release of Marvel’s Loki: The Art of the Series, aficionados have uncovered that certain compelling looks of the series’ protagonist were not fully disclosed by the creators.
Unseen Looks From Loki Season 1 Left Fans Astonished
Following the release of Loki Season 1, author Eleni Roussos released an artbook, Marvel Studios’ Loki: The Art Of The Series, exploring into the behind-the-scenes details surrounding the hit Marvel series which featured Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, and Sophia Di Martino.
In addition to featuring interviews with the cast and crew, the book showcases concept art and designs for various characters, including Tom Hiddleston’s and Martino’s roles. Recently, an X (Twitter) user shared one of the designs from the book, depicting the God of Mischief adorned in cowboy attire.
“WE WERE ROBBED OF COWBOY LOKI IN S1,” the X (Twitter) user said with the picture, showcasing the Marvel star mounted on a horse in a western-themed setting. The concept art has amused Marvel and Hiddleston fans, many of whom expressed feeling missed out on the opportunity to see the God of Mischief in such an unexpected guise.

What is Loki’s Future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
Introduced alongside Chris Hemsworth in the 2011 Marvel film, the God of Mischief has become a fan favorite in the vast Marvel Cinematic Universe. While his MCU journey was believed to have ended with the Infinity War, the actor reprised his role for his solo run in the Disney+ series, both seasons of which have garnered widespread acclaim from both critics and audiences alike.
However, as season 2 wrapped up, there have been several discussions about whether the God of Mischief will return with a third season of the show or not. And the possibilities for a Season 3 are likely low, as the producer of the series Eric Martin has shared that they planned the show to be told over 2 seasons.
“We approached this as like two halves of a book,” he told CinemaBlend in an interview before adding, “Season one, first half. Season two, we close the book on Loki and the TVA.” While plans could be changed moving forward, it also seems unlikely due to its direct ties with the franchise, and the Season 2 ending felt like a fitting farewell to the Norse God.
Despite the slim likelihood of a third season, fans anticipate Tom Hiddleston reprising his role in various upcoming Marvel projects, including Deadpool 3, Secret Wars, and potentially another installment of the Thor movie series.
Loki is available to stream on Disney+.
