Amidst fan-casting for every up-and-coming flick from a major studio, Henry Cavill seems to be in the driver’s seat all the time. Be it the next James Bond, Captain Britain, or Wolverine, Cavill seems to be topping everyone’s must-have cast list. While they’re mostly just rumors, it doesn’t stop his fans from picturing him star in their dream-come-true flick.
Given Cavill’s reputation as a hardcore gamer, it was only a matter of time before people pictured him in a Call of Duty movie. While he is already letting his inner geek shine with his Warhammer project, gamers and Cavill-swooners cannot stop picturing him as Captain Price of Modern Warfare fame ever since a report indicated Cavill is set to star in a long overdue, rumored Call of Duty movie.
With no official confirmation of Cavill’s presence or even the movie being underway, fans have been daydreaming of the next best role the former Superman can don. And if there’s another game that deserves the big-screen treatment, it’s the Wolfenstein franchise. With Henry Cavill himself turning executive producer to preserve the sanctity of Warhammer, and having fought to keep The Witcher intact, gamers have the utmost faith in Cavill to do Wolfenstein‘s William Joseph “B.J.” Blazkowicz paramount justice. Blasting through hordes of Nazis and sneaking into Hitler’s play should seem relatively easy for Cavill now.
Having your head chopped off and coming back to life, maybe less so… But hey! People were naysayers when he was set to play August Walker once, who’s to say he can’t pull off Blazko’s most bizarre plot points?

Having starred as Hank Hall in Titans and an NSA agent in comedy-thriller Dark Web: Cicada 3301, Ritchson has a wide range of former roles that help him stand as an equal against Cavill as Blazko.
