During a ComicBook Debate, the filmmaker was asked which Marvel character he would choose to make a film on. Snyder shared that he would prefer to work on Frank Miller’s Elektra Lives Again, a spin-off to the original Daredevil, which revolves around Elektra’s apparent return from death.

“I would choose Elektra Lives Again. Do you know that Frank Miller comic book?” he said, explaining that the graphic novel follows Daredevil having dreams about Elektra coming back to life.“It’s really cool and weird…It’s just cool, and beautiful. That’s what I would do. No one cares, but that’s what I would do,” he further said during the conversation.

The particular comic aligns with his penchant for darker themes and unconventional storylines, reflecting his distinct aesthetic sensibility. However, given Marvel’s ongoing development of a Daredevil series, the likelihood of this adaptation for the Marvel Cinematic Universe does not seem likely anytime soon.
