Leslie Uggams returns as Blind Al in Deadpool & Wolverine after she stole the show in 2018’s Deadpool 2. As pointed out by Nerdist, Uggams recently starred as Betty in Amazon’s Fallout. Her character from Vault 31 became the new overseer of Vault 33 after Kyle MacLachlan’s Hank gets abducted by Lee Moldaver.  She was very good in her mysterious role, which later led to a very shocking revelation in the show. Fallout was loved by fans and it has already been renewed for season 2.

Deadpool & Wolverine‘s trailer has already increased the anticipation of the film among fans and many believe the film will bring back the MCU to its glory days. The success of Fallout is great for Uggams along with the enormous hype for her return as Blind Al. The actress is having a great year so far and one hopes that Deadpool & Wolverine becomes another big hit for her when it releases in July.

Shawn Levy re-teams with his real-life friends Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman for Deadpool & Wolverine. Taking on such mammoth responsibility to direct the MCU’s first MCU film with the two iconic characters is something the director is excited about. In an interview with ScreenRant, Levy stated how the film is the ultimate two-hander with the titular characters.

Levy further claimed that it was a privilege to direct the two actors for the film, and they have not copied the usual Deadpool formula from the previous films. Instead, they have created something new and fun adventure with these characters. Levy said,

“As far as crafting the Deadpool and Wolverine story, I just felt privileged every day because you’re talking about two massive movie stars in their most iconic roles. It’s not Deadpool 3. It’s a different thing that’s very much Deadpool and Wolverine. And it’s not trying to copycat anything from the first two movies. They were awesome, but this is a two-hander character adventure.”

In addition to Reynolds and Jackman, the film will also star Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, and Matthew Macfadyen. The trailer of Deadpool & Wolverine was released yesterday and it has become all the rage among fans, skyrocketing the anticipation for the film.
