Jeremy Renner Reflected On His Road To Recovery
For Jeremy Renner, being alive after the devastating accident is bliss and he is grateful to be alive. Speaking with ET’s Kevin Frazier, the actor did not hold back anything that he experienced. “[I’m doing] probably 90 percent of all the things I needed to be doing… I think another six months will be hopefully running,” Renner said. Now, the actor is setting the goals for himself “whatever it takes to get better, to get stronger.” Renner further revealed that recovery will be part of the rest of his life but thankfully, he has a positive approach to it saying, “There’s always something to do to get better, be stronger, be happier, be healthier, and that’s what I look forward to.”
“It’s hard for me to look back, to be honest with you. It’s hard for me to look forward. I focus on now and this next step in front of me, ’cause there’s always another obstacle for me right now. It’s harrowing. I can’t believe I’m sitting here right now. I’m very grateful. I’m very happy that I’m moving forward in life, and I’m happy to share this life with the amazing people who I love.”
The fans of Renner across the globe were rooting for the Avengers star’s speedy recovery and many fans were inspired by his road to recovery. “That’s been overwhelming, to be honest. That’s a lot to take,” Renner said of inspiring people in his journey. But the actor will soon be able to get back to work.
Jeremy Renner Is Set To Get Back To The Game
The actor’s return to the MCU has been the stipulated question among fans. Renner has always been aware of that as the fans have never given him the room to be lazy in his recovery. “It makes me feel righteous. It makes me feel like I can never be lazy,” he told ET. “I can never have a bad day. I’m pretty blessed. It’s a great honor,” he added. Marvel fans are keen on seeing the actor getting back in The Avengers franchise. The 53-year-old gave a splendid update for the MCU fans regarding the MCU franchise with the ensemble heroes.
“I’m always game. I’m gonna be strong enough, that’s for sure. I’ll be ready. All those guys come to my bedside and they’ve been with me all along through this recovery, so… if they want me, they could have me. It would be something.”
Recently, the actor appeared in an ad for the Super Bowl. Renner’s daughter Ava also joined the star to appear in the ad alongside her dad. “I never pushed Ava to ever want to be in the business. She’s too young,” he told the outlet. However, The Hurt Locker star is glad to work on a project with his daughter.
